Delicious Tuscany originates from my background, from the passion for and skills in cooking. I have always thought that cooking is an art form and the best way to express myself and I share my experience with people in a truly friendly way.
All About Me
I was born and raised in Lucca. My passion for cooking finds its origin in my childhood together with my grandma. Thanks to her I have had the opportunity to experience the art of cooking as play. I still remember when my grandma woke me up every Sunday morning to help her in the kitchen. My work started by colletcting vegetables from our garden and the fresh eggs from the chicken coop together with my grandfther. Once we collected the raw materials we started cooking. Through my child eyes It seemed to me that everything happened as if by magic. The recipies were really a lot from traditional apetizers, to the fresh home-made pasta - gnocchi, tagliatelle, ravioli , second courses and dessert - tiramisù and the classic Tuscan cakes such as Torte co' Becchi . I have always found cooking to be joyfull, it is my way to relax and to express creativity . For this reason I have worked in restaurants for many years and I continued to cook for my family and friends as I think this is a great way to pamper my loved ones. From this point I decided to share my passion and my knowledge with people during cooking classes based on Delicious Tuscany recipes.
